Cop Law

Our firm represents law enforcement employee organizations and their members and individual law enforcement officers.  We represent the organizations in labor relations matters, including labor arbitrations and proceedings before the Federal Labor Relations Authority, and in civil litigation.  We defend members of those organizations, as well as individual officers, in civil, criminal and administrative matters that arise from the course and scope of the officer's employment.  We also respond to officer involved shootings and use of force incidents that may occur after regular business hours to represent members of those employee organizations we represent.  We respond to those incidents 24 hours a day, 365 days a year when requested to do so by our established law enforcement employee organization clients.

Some of our law enforcement clients include Local 1613 (San Diego, CA), Local 2544 (Tucson, AZ), Local 2554 (El Centro, CA) and Local 2595 (Yuma, AZ) of the National Border Patrol Council.  These four locals make up the Southwest Region of the National Border Patrol Council and, combined, represent more than half of all Border Patrol Agents nationwide.

We are also counsel to the Department of Defense Police Officers Association (FOP Federal Lodge 12), which represents Department of Defense police officers in the San Diego metropolitan area assigned to the Navy Region Southwest.
