Cop Law

Our firm represents law enforcement employee organizations and their members and individual law enforcement officers.  We represent the organizations in labor relations matters, including labor arbitrations and proceedings before the Federal Labor Relations Authority, and in civil litigation.  We defend members of those organizations, as well as individual officers, in civil, criminal and administrative matters that arise from the course and scope of the officer's employment.  We also respond to officer involved shootings and use of force incidents that may occur after regular business hours to represent members of those employee organizations we represent.  We respond to those incidents 24 hours a day, 365 days a year when requested to do so by our established law enforcement employee organization clients.

Some of our law enforcement clients include Local 1613 (San Diego, CA),  Local 2554 (El Centro, CA) and Local 2595 (Yuma, AZ) of the National Border Patrol Council.  These three locals are part of the Southwest Region of the National Border Patrol Council and, combined, represent approximately one-third of all Border Patrol Agents nationwide.

We are also counsel to the Fraternal Order of Police, Federal Lodge 12 (FOP Federal Lodge 12), which represents federal police officers and agents in the Southern California.

Our attorneys are panel attorneys for the PORAC Legal Defense Fund and the Fraternal Order of Police Legal Defense Plan.
